Data & Insights Professional, Utrecht 

Data-driven decision-making is becoming increasingly important for both Arla Foods and its customers. Internally, they turn consumer, customer and business performance data into actionable insights that help drive growth. Externally, through close collaboration with their customers, Arla provides objective advice that supports category growth.

As Data & Insights Professional, you will report to the Category Development Manager. Together with the Data & Insights Manager, you will proactively identify, analyze, and share relevant insights from the various data sources available at Arla Foods. You will work closely with colleagues across Customer Development, Account Management and Marketing to help shape effective strategies and support commercial growth.

 

Key responsibilities

       ·        Continuously monitor and present key business metrics and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities, potential risks and emerging trends;

·        Conduct ad hoc data analysis projects to answer specific business questions and solve commercial challenges;

·        Monitor and review the quality and accuracy of data provided by both internal and external sources;

·        Act as the main point of contact for internal and external data providers, building strong relationships to ensure smooth communication and effective collaboration;

·        Provide guidance and support to internal teams on data analysis and identify opportunities to further strengthen data capabilities across the organization;

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Customer Development, to translate consumer, customer and business performance data into actionable insights that drive growth;

·        Identify data-driven opportunities to unlock further growth, including category development and innovation;

·        Stay up to date with trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and insight generation.

 

Your profile

You have experience in data analytics within Trade Marketing and/or Category Management. You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education and are proficient in data analysis tools such as Nielsen and GfK. You combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful, actionable insights. You are also a confident communicator and presenter, able to make complex data accessible to a broad audience.
